Born and raised in Berkeley CA, CT has been exploring the art of filmmaking seriously for the past year. Doing this by attending Berkeley Digital Film Institute; starting September 2007 and leaving to work in LA with Taj Mahal and the Popular Kid crew in April of 2008. While CT attended BDFI he never stopped his hustle, he directed 15 “guerrilla” (no budget) music videos in the first seven months of school, directed one short film, and worked on various commercials. Many of CT’s best friends were up and coming rappers out of Berkeley, and Oakland which influenced his dark, street, and almost gritty, style that he soon developed through the lens of a video camera.
